Stage 6 and finish

Today was a walk in the park. All competitors donned clean T-shirts and completed a short "charity" stage, savouring the final moments in the desert.

Hector completed the MdS in 42:05:50 and was mid-way down the field. The record books will show that the old dog was slightly lower down the list, but his main job was to look after the young pup and he did that brilliantly, particularly in the long stage. So I wanted to say a big thank you to the old dog from (OK, I think I've stretched that analogy far enough).

Thank you so much for your support, messages and donations. Hector and Paul are very touched.
